The 49 New Brunswick MLAs who were elected two weeks ago will officially begin their work Monday.
A swearing-in ceremony will take place at the legislature in Fredericton at 2:30 p.m, according to a message on the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick’s website.
It comes two weeks to the day after New Brunswickers went to the polls for the second time in two years.
The Progressive Conservatives won a majority government with 27 seats, followed by the Liberals with 17, the Green Party with three and the People’s Alliance with two seats.
There will be 13 new faces in the legislature this time around while the remaining 36 MLAs were re-elected.
Meanwhile, the PCs are expected to announce their cabinet ministers on Tuesday.
