A 25-year-old Sackville man has been arrested in connection with a drugs and firearms seizure in Lake George, southwest of Fredericton.
A warrant for Nicholas Bain was issued back in May for possession of prohibited or restricted firearms.
RCMP searched a home on Main Street in Sackville today and later apprehended Bain without incident.
He is scheduled to make his first court appearance in Fredericton.
On May 20th, Mounties searched a Lake George home on Route 635 and seized more than 185 items including long guns and handguns which in some cases were loaded.
Police also seized what was believed to be three kilograms of cocaine and 5.5 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine along with an amount of Canadian currency.
