Police say a 37-year-old man from the Sussex area has been charged with possessing child pornography.
RCMP say they launched an investigation in February and searched a home in Smiths Creek in May.
A man was arrested at the scene and released, and officers seized several electronic devices.
Ryan Jamie Whitfield Balzer was charged on July 31. He is scheduled to appear in court in October.
