A heat warning is in effect for most of New Brunswick until Tuesday.
Environment Canada reports that temperatures could reach 32 degrees with a humidex of 39.
Residents are advised to watch for the effects of heat illness such as swelling, rash, cramps, fainting, heat exhaustion, heat stroke and the worsening of some health conditions.
Environment Canada issues heat warnings when very high temperatures or humidity elevates the risk of heat illnesses.
Residents should continue to monitor alerts and forecasts and report severe weather.
The heat warning is issued for the central and eastern parts of the province.
