No injuries after a fire broke out in a dryer in the Lower West side on Thursday evening.
At 9:30 the Saint John Fire department responded to a call at 119 Guilford Street.
According to acting platoon chief Roy Byers the first arriving crews managed to keep the fire to the dryer.
The two story two unit structure had minor smoke and water damage.
Residents were able to return to their apartments after an hour.
