The Town of Sussex is looking for information after one of its 27 murals was defaced with spray paint.
The damaged mural, which depicts a train, has been spray-painted over with words and graffiti.
On Tuesday, the town took to social media asking residents to contact police with any information on the vandalism.
The town, which calls itself the “mural capital of Atlantic Canada”, commissioned the public art in 2004.
Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call the Sussex RCMP detachment at 506-433-7700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
