June 22 marks the first day of lifeguard supervision at Gondola Point Beach in Quispamsis.
Lifeguards will supervise daily between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. until August 28.
The beach is staffed by the Canada Games Aquatic Centre, and 2020 marks the ninth year of the partnership.
Swimming lessons will also be available at the beach.
Gondola Point Beach will be the only supervised swimming spot in Quispamsis this summer. Meenan’s Cove will not have lifeguards during construction at the beach house, while the Q-Plex remains closed for the year as previously announced.
