A squabble between the Liberals and the Conservatives have caused government legislation to come to a screeching halt.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau won’t provide the Conservatives with a fiscal update, and according to the Prime Minister, the Conservatives held up coronavirus legislation yesterday.
“The Conservatives decided that no political advantages and political concerns are more important than getting an extra $600 with people living with disabilities. We are deeply disappointed and we won’t give up,” Trudeau said.
One of the benefits now in limbo includes a $600 tax free payment to Canadians living with disabilities.
