New Brunswick has one new case of COVID-19 today.
Public Health says the new case is an individual in their 80’s in the Campbellton region (Zone 5) and is linked to Manoir de la Vallée.
The long term care home in Atholville now has five active cases.
The total number of active cases is 13 and all are in the Campbellton region.
Five patients are hospitalized with one in the intensive care unit.
More than 30,000 tests have now been conducted across the province.
“We are pleased to see how all our partners have come together to help us manage the situation,” said Dr. Jennifer Russell, chief medical officer of health. “We have 14 days ahead of us to see how things unfold. In the meantime, I ask New Brunswickers to continue to demonstrate their compassion, kindness and patience throughout the province.”
