Condolences are pouring in for singer Bill Withers who has died at age 81.
Multiple media outlets are quoting his family who says he passed away in Los Angeles on Monday.
He made waves in the 70s with hits like Lean on Me.
Musicians Lenny Kravitz, playwright Lin-Manuel Miranda, and the Smithsonian are among those paying their respects on social media today after news broke about Withers’ death.
“Sometimes in our lives, We all have pain. We all have sorrow.
But, if we are wise, we know that there’s always tomorrow.”
