The City of Saint John and members of CUPE Local 18 reached a tentative agreement on Thursday.
Common Council will be asked to approve the new agreement at the March 23rd meeting.
The executive members of CUPE Local 18 will ask their membership for ratification at a separate meeting on the same night.
Once the deal is ratified, the details of the agreement will be released.
Negotiations started last October and the latest contract for members of Local 18 expired on January 1st.
