Ice-fishing shelters will soon be coming off lakes and rivers throughout New Brunswick.
The Department of Environment says shelters must be removed by March 15 in the south and March 31 in the north.
Spokesperson Anne Mooers said that could be sooner if we have prolonged warm weather between now and then.
Owners are encouraged to monitor the weather and remove their structures before they become an environmental hazard.
