Saint John Police is investigating after they say a man was shot uptown on Monday.
Just before 6 p.m. Monday, police received a call about a man who had arrived at the Saint John Regional Hospital with what was believed to be a gunshot wound.
A 21-year-old Saint John man remains in the hospital and is in stable condition.
Spokesperson Jim Hennessy says police were in the area of Brunswick Drive and Exmouth Street Monday night investigating the shooting.
Officers are in the area of Brunswick Drive and Exmouth Street uptown as they work on an investigation.
