A New Brunswick man has found out for a second time what it is like to win a big chunk of cash on a lottery ticket.
Freddie Savoie of Brantville was one of two winners who split just under $390,000 from the Lotto Max draw on New Year’s Eve.
He won $90,000 in a Lotto 6/49 draw a number of years ago. Savoie, a music therapist, says he loves his job and doesn’t see himself ever really retiring.
Savoie is so passionate about his job that he delayed a trip to Atlantic Lottery headquarters to pick up his big cheque because he had sessions booked and refused to cancel them.
The other half of the prize was won by a ticket sold in Quebec.
