If you are looking for some great music to help put you in that festive mood, head on down to Calvary Temple Church on Sunday, December 8th.
It’s the fifth annual Sistema NB Saint John Centre “Christmas Benefit Concert” at 83 Sydney Street.
Reverend Chad Nickerson says they have an excellent line up who have all donated their time to the cause.
“We have Aaron Grant, the Saint John String Quartet, Sea Belles Chorus, Brent Mason and Before the Mast, along with The Sistema Children’s Orchestra,” stated Nickerson.
The Reverend says they are looking to raise a few thousand dollars through donations to help get even more kids into the music program.
“They are taught orchestral music, given instruments and instruction from professional artists, it teaches great life skills responsibility, teamwork some of the things that really help children in life succeeding throughout their lifetime,” said Reverend Nickerson.
It gets underway at 6 PM on Sunday and although admission is free they are hoping for plenty of donations.
