Saint John Police say a young boy was bitten by a dog Tuesday morning.
Around 8 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to a call on Wright Street. A woman said the dog “jumped at her child and grabbed him by the head, leaving a cut on his hairline.”
The boy was taken to the hospital and cleared to go home after an examination.
The bylaw enforcement team along with Animal control are now investigating the incident.
