It looks like a major rain event is coming our way tomorrow and Friday and the City of Saint John is ready for it.
Widespread rain is expected to begin tomorrow morning and then increase in intensity Halloween night right into Friday.
Crews are already preparing trucks with the proper barricades and signs should there be any flooded streets, the work also continues to clear major catch basins and drainage gutters across the city.
Residents are being encouraged to do the same thing in their own area.
Saint John EMO is also asking people to keep a close watch on the rain and strong winds.
Drivers are being advised to make sure your headlights are on slow down to avoid hydroplaning and splashing pedestrians and obey all barricades.
To report flooding, contact the City’s Customer Service at 658-4455.
