Two new mountain bike trails in Rockwood Park are set to open this weekend.
The Millennium Falcon and Jedi Academy trails add over 1.5 km of new trail for beginners and intermediate mountain bike riders.
The trails are also considered multi-purpose, all season trails that can also be used for hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.
The Saint John Cycling Club Trail Miners is hosting an official opening celebration in Rockwood Park Sunday afternoon at 2:15 p.m.
There will be a barbecue, ribbon cutting and an inaugural bike ride, so bring your bikes and helmets.
The city says there will also be prizes for those dressed in their best Star Wars themed costume.
