Anyone living in the Waterloo Village or the South End of Saint John with a concern or question for police can deliver it face to face.
A new initiative called, Walk With A Cop, offers a more personal way to get to know a Saint John police officer by spending some time with an officer.
Constable Duane Squires of the Crime Reduction Unit wants to hear from folks who might have a concern about the neighbourhood they want to share.
“I think it’s more of us saying ‘hey, here’s my number, here’s my contact information’. I am kind of opening the door for them to come on in. Trying to be more accessible to our community.” Cst. Squires said.
SJPF is proud to introduce a new initiative called " Walk with a CopĀ " launched by our Community Based Crime Reduction Team in the South End and Waterloo Village areas of Saint John. Join Cst. Squires for a walk! #walkwithacopsj #communitypolice #crimereduction pic.twitter.com/z9xDItdSld
