New Brunswick RCMP are investigating a series of reported break-ins in the Tracadie, N.B., area.
Police have received seven reports of break and enters into garages and sheds over the past couple of weeks.
Last Thursday, RCMP arrested two men, aged 18 and 20, who were found to be in possession of a various pieces of stolen construction equipment and a number of stolen tools.
Police would like to identify the rightful owners of the items, and return them.
They are also asking anyone who has been a victim of a recent break and enter or theft, but who has not reported it, to contact their local police.
The two men who were arrested were released and will be issued a summons to appear in court at a later date.
The RCMP is reminding citizens to be vigilant and ensure their homes, cottages, outbuildings and vehicles are locked, and that valuable items are not left within sight.
