Barack Obama is coming to the Maritimes.
The 44th President of the United States will make his way to Halifax November 13 to speak at Scotiabank Centre.
It’s expected the former president will talk about leadership, hope and civic engagement.
It is being presented by Atlantic Credit Unions and the Nova Scotia Co-operative Council to kick off their 70th anniversary.
Mike Leonard, President & Chief Executive Officer Credit Unions Atlantic Canada, says Obama is the perfect choice to inspire others.
“President Obama was renowned for his ability to galvanize communities, bring communities together and when we think about who we want to be I can’t think of a better person to spend time with us on November 13.” Leonard said.
Tickets are expected to go on sale June 29.
