Former Sea Dogs coaches and Memorial Cup Champions Gerard Gallant and Mike Kelly will return to Saint John for a Hall of Fame event tonight.
Mike Thomas, a former player and captain, will be inducted into the Sea Dogs Hall of Fame.
Gallant is well known for being the head coach of the Vegas Golden Knights, and leading the expansion team to the Stanley Cup Finals last year. He lead the Sea Dogs for three seasons, amassing 161 regular season wins.
Kelly, former director, manager and coach of the Sea Dogs joins Gallant as assistant coach of the Golden Knights. During his time with Saint John he won two President Cups and a Memorial Cup in 2011.
Joining Thomas, Gallant and Kelly will be additional Sea Dogs Alumni including Simon Despres, Mike Kirkpatrick, Ryan Sparling, and Zack Phillips.
Doors open at 6:30 at the Imperial Theatre, with the event starting at 8 PM. Tickets can be purchased online.
