Ian Fogan, Deputy Commissioner of Administrative Services with the City of Saint John says every week the makeup of the Night Market will change.
“We hope to have some exciting new products, some which haven’t been seen at farmers markets before and we also plan on transitioning products throughout the season. You won’t see the same vendors or the same products,” Fogan said.
Fogan explains the event will be licensed.
“Picaroon’s will also be including what they call buddy taps, not just their own brews but, also other partners brews in there as well.”
Fogan says the Night Market’s closing time can be flexible.
“We are going to leave the closing time a little bit open – if there are still people there and the vendors still want to be there – we’ll let it go on a little longer. If it’s a cold, wet night and people want to close up early we’ll do that too,” Fogan said.
The Night Market starts tonight at 5 p.m. and continues until September.
