Spring has finally sprung at the Cherry Brook zoo, as it announces its newest furry addition.
A baby wallaby has pounced out of its mother’s pouch and into the hearts of Cherry Brook zookeepers and visitors alike.
Baby Willaby joins the wallaby family at the zoo as of last week.
She was named through a public poll on Facebook.
Wallabies are close cousins to kangaroos. This is the zoo’s fourth wallaby: Willaby joins parents Oliver and Ruby, and younger sister Rue who was born last spring.
