A longtime Fredericton radio host accused of trying to sexually entice a minor in Puerto Rico has pleaded not guilty.
U.S. Court documents say Trevor Doyle waived his right to be present at his arraignment hearing, which was scheduled for Thursday.
The documents also indicate Doyle wishes to plead not guilty to the charges.
Doyle was arrested by the FBI on April 3rd in Isle Verde, and appeared in a detention hearing on April 9th.
A conviction on the charge carries a sentence of between 10 years and life in prison.
According to the documents, “Mr. Doyle expressly waives his right to be present at the arraignment hearing, and affirms that he has a copy of the indictment and is aware of the contents of the same.”
