New Brunswick motorists saw another rise in gas prices Thursday, just days before a federally imposed carbon tax is applied to fuel prices in the province.
The regular weekly adjustment from the Energy and Utilities Board raised prices by 2.5 cents a litre overnight.
Diesel fuel saw a milder increase, rising Thursday by only 0.4 cents per litre.
Despite morning prices in the Saint John area hovering around 1.20 cents per litre, many commuters may still be lining up through the weekend to take advantage of the current price ahead of Monday.
April 1 will see federal fuel charge rates adding 4.42 cents per litre to pumps.
