Field House Project gets a big donation (submitted)
It a nice financial shot in the arm for the Greater Saint John Field House.
It has been presented with the first of three cheques for $50,000 from the New Brunswick Children’s Foundation.
The money will help to complete the construction of the facility and equipping it for operations and provide equipment for programs.
Bill MacMackin, President of the Field House Project says ” This latest major donation demonstrates the continued support of our community’s charitable foundations and for the New Brunswick Children’s Foundation it aligns with their mandate.”
The Field house, once completed will have two turf pitches for field sporting events, a running track a community centre and multi-purpose space for the youth of East Saint John.
