Toys R Us Canada has issued a recall on a number of baby sleepers due to a flammability hazard.
The recall involves six styles of the Koala Baby brand 2-pack sleepers, which can be identified by the manufacturer code on the inside tag.
According to Health Canada, the sleepers do not meet the flammability requirements for children’s sleepwear under Canadian law, as they are too loose-fitting.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled sleepers and return them to a Toys”R”Us Canada store for a refund.
As of March 20, the company has not received any reports of injuries related to the use of the product in Canada.
Between June 2017 and March 2019, approximately 82,314 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.
