The Conservative shadow minister for Atlantic Canada isn’t overly impressed with the final Trudeau government budget for this mandate.
In fact, Rob Moore says it had nothing worthwhile for Atlantic Canadian who he says has been taken for granted by the Liberals these past four years.
” As Atlantic Canadians, we need to have economic development in our region, we want to have jobs, we know that families are struggling to make ends meet, and in that regard we know there is nothing in that budget for families struggling to make ends meet” stated Moore.
Moore says the fact the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency Minister is from Ontario proves the Liberals are taking us for granted.
He adds a new carbon tax will hit us hard come April 1st, especially at the gas pumps.
