Saint John experienced record setting low temperatures in the early morning hours this morning.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Karen Kilcup says the previous record for Saint John was set in 1985 at minus 21.2.
Kilcup says last night the temperature dropped to -25.4.
She says the record setting temperature was registered between 4-6 o’clock this morning.
During that time period, winds were 6km/hr.
With the wind, it felt like -31.
