A hot and healthy lunch will keep being reality for students at Hazen White-St. Francis, Centennial and St. John the Baptist-King Edward schools.
The Lunch connections program receiving a cheque from the Chop Chop restaurant week held in November at many uptown restaurants.
Erin Hodge of the Inner City Youth Ministry tells CHSJ News they are all about about helping famillies and youth.
She says they are providing a hot meal three days a week and $7000 from Chop Chop will buy 7000 meals so kids can focus on school and not focus on being hungry.
45,000 lunches are provided every year through this program.
