It appears Kredl’s Corner Market in Hampton will live to see another day but remains in a precarious financial position according to Mr. Justice Darryl Stephenson.
The judge has given owner Dave Wolpin 30 days to come to an arrangement on the money owed to Farm Credit Corporation.
Wolpin says he’s confident Farm Credit will give Kredl’s time to resolve the matter in their favour.
Another hearing will be held on January 17th. Farm Credit is the largest creditor being owed $1.9 million dollars but is willing to accept $900 thousand from Wolpin and walk away from $1 million.
Mr. Justice Stephenson is urging Wolpin to be practical and realistic. Lawyers for Farm Credit expressed doubt to the court whether a deal could be had.
