Some Saint Johners who live in the Forest Hills area and who are under a boil water order after a water main break will have their water shut off from 8pm until 7am on Thursday.
The City says that’s because to fix the broken water main Saint John Water has to shut down a water main that goes over the broken one so that crews aren’t working underneath a large live water main.
Notices are being hand delivered to the people who will have their water shut off.
The streets impacted are:
- Mountain View Drive from #120-236
- Vista Ridge Crescent
- Candace Street
- Lynn Avenue
- Kelton Street
- Beverly Drive
- Kennington Street
If you live in one of these areas, you’re asked to draw the water you need before shut-off.
The city says the earliest the boil water order for the areas of Forest Hill and Champlain Heights will be lifted is Saturday evening.
