The legalization of marijuana for both medical and personal use continues to slowly gain popularity in Atlantic Canada according to a survey from Corporate Research Associates (CRA).
82 percent of Atlantic Canadians support the legalization of medical marijuana use while 53 percent favour personal pot use.
More than any other age group, 18 to 34-year-olds are the most enthusiastic about legalizing personal use.
Support in this category is highest in Nova Scotia and lowest in Prince Edward Island.
More than 1500 Atlantic Canadian adults were surveyed by CRA over the telephone between November 7th and December 1st
