The town of Grand Bay-Westfield is showing some love for Enterprise Saint John.
Their council has voted to give the economic development agency more than $25,000 in funding in their new budget.
Mayor Grace Losier tells us they believe in Enterprise Saint John.
She says they understand the value of having a central agency that looks after economic development on behalf of all of us.
Losier says they have added a little more because over the years when the City of Saint John was unable to give what was requested the outlying communities have picked up some of that slack.
She says they want Enterprise Saint John to know they respect their work and they recognize that Saint John is the economic engine for the region.
