It’s the 10th year for the Ritchie’s food drive for Romero House and the timing is good.
It’s also the first food drive since the passing of Carolyn McNulty back in August.
Evelyn McNulty tells us the number of people coming to the soup kitchen is going up adding the need has been creeping up over the last few years.
She says even in the last month the need has been unbelievable so things are definitely not better and if there are better somewhere she isn’t sure where that is.
Non-perishable food or cash donations for Romero House are being accepted in the parking lot of Ritchie’s on Rothesay avenue until 7pm tonight and starting again tomorrow morning at 6am.
