City firefighters were called to put out a blaze at 16 Pagan Place.
The fire started around 3:20 this morning in a vacant building and was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived. This forced the evacuation of a nearby building.
Traffic was not allowed along Germain Street and part of St. James Street.
