It can be hard to find any good news in the provincial economy but there is some.
Pierre Cleroux of the Business Development Bank of Canada says while mining in this area took a big hit, it would be smart to invest in entrepreneurs.
He says the tech industry is doing well in New Brunswick with a lot of job creation and exporting to the U.S.
He calls investing in tech would be a solid long term strategy for the provincial government.
He says lumber exports are very strong and will continue to do well next year because the demand from the U.S.
