A peaceful ending to a standoff in Fredericton that lasted nearly six hours.
In the early morning hours of Friday, police went to Paul Street on the north side after reports of a domestic dispute and they had information there could be weapons.
The man had barricaded himself inside the home and there were other people inside.
The man was taken into custody without incident.
No one was hurt.
