After five years, the President of the Progressive Conservative Party of New Brunswick is stepping down effective immediately.
Jason Stephen says it was a lot of hard work, but they had a lot of accomplishments under his tenure.
He says he’s leaving on a high note after wrapping up a very successful leadership convention last month.
“I feel that the most ever memberships signed up for our convention, and certainly the most ever to show up and vote for our convention,” says Stephen. “And the fact that during a time where government was not going to change we won two successful byelections.”
Stephen says he served in the role for two more years than he intended and he’s ready to spend more time with his family.
