Two men convicted in a high profile Saint John drug trial must wait until December to learn their prison sentences.
34 year old Shane Williams and 39 year old Joshua Kindred were convicted on a total of 12 charges in September including cocaine trafficking and conspiracy to traffic.
28 people were originally charged in the J Tornado case.
While the prosecution said both men had the motivation of greed in their drug dealing, their lawyers describe them as good men and low level to mid level dealers not kingpins.
William’s wife Tarah read a letter saying her son learned of his father’s conviction when it came over the radio while he was on the school bus. The prosecution is recommending Williams serve 14 years in prison.
Mr. Justice Willam Grant has reserved decision until December 9th.
