With continuing concern over the future of wild Atlantic salmon, 4.7 million dollars in federal and provincial money has been provided for first phase of a comprehensive recovery program.
The money is going to Collaboration for Atlantic Salmon Tomorrow in an effort to increase Atlantic salmon stocks in the Miramichi and Restigouche rivers.
