The trial of 28 year old Richard Valiquette for criminal negligence causing the death of 17 year old Gavin Adams nearly 3 years ago has heard the results of blood and urine testing done by a lab in Pennsylvania.
Now retired Fornsic Toxicologist Dr. Albert Frazier says 25-i is relatively unknown but is potent even if taken in small amounts and is considered toxic to the cardiac system, the central nervous system as well as adversely affecting the brain, causing agitation and an altered state of consciousness.
Having testifed as such, Dr. Frazier couldn’t say with any degree of certainty whether Adams died of an overdose but does say 25-i would have affected his decisionmaking.
On the night police found Adams frozen under a pile of snow, the temperature had fallen to minus 17.
