Kate Thompson of Lorden feels honoured to win the Young Entrepreneur Award telling us she think she has the best retail space in Saint John.
She says lots of people come in saying they used to work at Birk’s jewellrey or shop there so there was a lot of pressure but she thinks people are really happy with how they have transformed the store.
Durck Dewinter of Bird Construction says they are honoured and a bit amazed to win the Chair’s award this year.
He says they are a fairly large construction company based in Saint John with a lot of reach into the community supporting subcontractors, suppliers and the consultant industry.
Black’s Transfer won this year’s award for Business Excellence.
The 2016 Emerging Enterprise Award winner is Downsizing Diva Saint John which offers up various services to seniors from managing a move, preparing a house for sale, organizing and cleaning, photo preservation and senior concierge services.
PRO Kids picks up the Big Heart Award, the Passion For Change award goes to Connection Works.
