Economists project that Trump’s plans would add more than $5,000,000,000,000 to the national debt. That’s “trillion” with a “T.”

One expert who watched the first debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump saw a clear winner.
Political Scientist JP Lewis of the University of New Brunswick in Saint John tells us Hilary had a great night.
He says she had a lot more substance in what she was talking about and she appeared presidential.
He thinks a key moment was when Clinton said America would be ok and would recognize treaties.
He’s thinks Clinton stood out.
Lewis says they both have scandals they know people are aware of and he was a bit suprised that Trump didn’t press Clinton more on the email controversy.
He says Trump is used to working the room without a script.
Lewis says not having an audience to work off he definitely seemed lost in his messaging where you weren’t really sure what his point was.
Lewis says the Trump campaign strategies are so unpredictable and unconventional with major gaffes that in any other election would cause the candidate to be disqualified by now.
Hillary’s been failing for 30 years in not getting the job done – it will never change.
