A 23 year old man from Edmundston is the provinces latest millionaire.
Mathieu Levesque was one of six winners in the September 9th MAXmillions draw.
Levesque says he plays Lotto MAX almost every week…and he has never won anything like this before…
He first heard on the radio that someone in the province had won, but his ticket sat in his closet under a pile of blankets for more than a week before he checked it.
Levesque says retirement isn’t an option,but he knows he would like to travel.
Spending his winnings wasn’t his first priority though after he picked up his cheque. The first thing he did, was head out on the moose hunt. It was his first time ever getting a moose license and he headed to northern New Brunswick to hunt with his uncle.
