Disappointment is how the official opposition feels about the Gallant government’s two year anniversary in office.
Interim Progressive Conservative leader Bruce Fitch says a good example would be the Tuition Access Bursary – the so-called free tuition program – which even the opposition felt was a policy in the right direction.
But Fitch says the TAB program became flawed when you looked at the fine print.
“They took away so much from so many people, to give a small, small portion of what they cut to very few people in the province,” he notes.
Fitch adds some of the plans released by the Gallant government including the education plan, economic plan and the roundtable on seniors, show a lack of concrete action needed to move the province forward.
