A lockdown is in place at the Dorchester Penitentiary after a seizure of unauthorized items.
Corrections Officials say a package containing nicotine patches was seized on Saturday and on Monday, the medium security facility was placed under lockdown.
Staff members are now conducting a thorough search..and visits to the facility have been suspended.
