100 Women Who Care of Greater Saint John cheque presentation
The 100 Women Who Care of Greater Saint John is ready to give another deserving charity a big donation on Tuesday.
The group will hear five-minute pitches from three charities already chosen by a draw and then the women will vote on who they think made the best pitch.
Founder Debbie Rathwell says “The charity with the most votes goes home with all of the money, it’s so efficient and it is really very personal as each of the ladies watch their $100 grow to more than $20,000 in less than an hour.”
Going into the meeting on Tuesday evening between 5:30 PM ad 6:30 PM the group 100 Women Who Care Of Greater Saint John has donated $551,185 and the money has gone to 23 charities, some of them more than once.
