You will be able to see more of those painted salmon adorning the streets of Uptown Saint John late in the spring.
Discover Saint John is doing another Salmon Run and this one will be very special according to Executive Director Victoria Clarke.
“Being that 2019 will be the International Year of the Salmon we needed to do it one more time, what an important symbol for our city and what an important symbol for our province” stated Clarke.
Clarke says “We’ve put out a call for submissions for any interested artisans from around New Brunswick and we are welcoming 10 new New Brunswick artists to the competition.
Interested artisans have until March 15 to get in their submissions and those selected will be able to do the work between April 8 and May 13.
